The Experience – Vasa Museum

The Vasa Museum is one of Scandinavia’s most visited cultural landmarks and home to one of the world’s most remarkable maritime treasures. Here you will encounter the Vasa, a unique and exceptionally wellpreserved warship from 1628, richly decorated with hundreds of original wooden sculptures.

Built to be the most powerful warship in the Baltic, Vasa tragically sank on her maiden voyage just minutes after setting sail. After lying on the seabed for more than 300 years, the ship was rediscovered in 1956 and carefully raised in 1961. Today, she stands as a powerful and immersive testament to Swedish history, craftsmanship and ambition.

During this twohour private tour, you will have the opportunity to experience the Vasa warship and its fascinating story at your own pace, with time to explore the museum’s exhibitions and displays.

On the way to the museum, you will enjoy a scenic drive through different parts of Stockholm in one of our comfortable private vehicles, accommodating up to seven passengers. The tour is led by an experienced local driverguide who shares insights, anecdotes and personal perspectives — offering a richer understanding of both the city and its history.
